High Viscosity Polyanionic Cellulose ANICELL HV
Technical Requirement
TU 20.16.59-160-53501222-2022
Fluid loss reducing agent ANICELL grade HV is used as an additive for regulating the level of water loss of clay and clay-free drilling fluids based on fresh or mineralized water. The product is used to control the structural-rheological and filtration properties of muds, it increases their relative viscosity.
ANICELL grade HV is a purified highly substituted polyanionic cellulose of high viscosity.

Customer Benefits
-
ANICELL HV additive is universal in application: it is used to reduce the fluid loss of drilling fluids of various salinities, including solutions based on fresh water, based on KCl, and also based on sea water. At the same time, ANICELL HV is used in cases where it is required not only to reduce water loss, but also to improve the rheological characteristics of the mud.
-
The use ANICELL HV additive in drilling fluids contributes to forming of a thin, dense, low-permeability filter cake, which reduces mud filtration into formation, forms a thin polymer cake; and reduces differential sticking occurence.
-
Due to its film-forming properties, ANICELL HV slows down the erosion of the walls of the well, preventing its shedding.
-
Depending on solid phase concentration and mixing-up water salinity level the adding of ANICELL HV allows to increase the viscosity and to control the rheological characteristics of the drilling fluid within the specified limits.
-
ANICELL HV is resistant to possible contaminants of drilling mud, as well as to bacteria exposure, so it does not require special adding of biocides.
-
ANICELL HV shows encapsulating properties for shale particles contributing to the reduction of dispersion.
-
ANICELL HV is effective when pH of mud ranges from 7 to 11.
-
ANICELL HV is cost-effective, added to muds in small quantities.
-
ANICELL HV is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Recommended Consumption
To obtain the optimal consistency of mud it is recommended to introduce the chemical slowly and evenly into the circulating drilling mud through a hydraulic funnel at a rate of 1 bag per 10-20 minutes.
Depending on the requirements to the mud, the consumption of the ANICELL HV may vary from 2 to 5 kg per 1 m3 of the finished drilling mud.
Packing
Modified additive ANICELL HV is supplied in 25 kg multilayer paper bags.
Guaranteed shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture provided all storage and transportation conditions are observed.
