СО2 & H2S Corrosion Inhibitor NORUST® 9805

СО2 and H2S corrosion Inhibitor NORUST®9805

TU 2458-083-53501222-2011

Inhibitors NORUST® 9805 are water soluble corrosion inhibitors which have been specially developed for the use in oil industry in order to ensure the protection against corrosion induced by the  presence of CO2 and/or H2S.

NORUST® 9805 are particularly recommended for the protection of gas-condensate wells and oil wells as well as for the protection of flow lines and surface equipment.

Two grades of NORUST® 9805 are available: NORUST® 9805 grade A and NORUST® 9805 grade V.

Application Area
  • Protection of gas condensate and oil wells from CO2 and/or H2S corrosion.
  • Protection of oil collection systems from CO2 and/or H2S corrosion.
  • Protection of oil field equipment from CO2 and/or H2S corrosion.

Customer Benefits
  • High speed of protective film forming.
  • No emulsification is observed. No influence at oil treatment.
  • Stability of corrosion inhibitor at high temperature and high pressure.
  • Because of NORUST® 9805 special formulation it doesn’t form foam.
  • High effectiveness of the inhibitor which allows to reduce the chemical consumption at treatment.
  • Compatibility of the inhibitor with other chemicals and materials.
  • Low freezing-point of the inhibitor.
Process Technique

NORUST® 9805 is normally injected continuously by means of a dosing pump.

The injection rate of NORUST® 9805 depends on fluid corrosiveness. For crude oil systems the consumption varies between 10 to 30 ppm based on total fluid.

For gas pipeline transportation systems the dose varies between 10 and 50 liters per million cubic meters of gas.

To obtain more detailed information about the chemical, determining its optimal consumption for the particular application and for organizing laboratory tests, please contact the specialists of POLYEX Company.
