Specialists of Polyex company will participate in the All-Russian scientific-and-practical conference Practical aspects of oilfield chemicals which will take place in Ufa
From the 20th to the 2ist of May, 2015 in the city of Ufa within the framework of the V International forum "BOLISHAYA KHIMIA" the V All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Practical aspects of oilfield chemistry” wil be held. At this conference the specialists of Polyex will make the presentations concerning the salt compositions and specific additives for well killing fluids and concerning the applications of surfactant-based chemicals and their properties.
In the presentation on the salt compositions and specific additives for well killing fluids the folowing issues will be discussed: current requirements for kilina fluids, including both the requirements for the densities, the abilty to preserve reservoir properties and strict requirements for corrasiveness of the fluids, the content of suspended solids, and, in many ‘cases, the requirements for cryostabilty. The report will observe the relevance and the importance of each of these requirements. Modem approaches to the killing fluid quality control methods especialy in the fields conditions will be discussed. The special requirements for king fluid will be considered including their compatiblity with formation fluids, stabiity over time at reservoir temperatures, the abiity to inhibit the swelling of clays. Besides, the issue of the correct implementation of the ways of kiling fuid technological parameter determining willbe discussed. The ways of the parameter control are governed by the regulating operational procedures in the producing companies.
In the report on the surfactants-based chemical application and their properties the correlation between the most distinct properties of specific types of surfactant and the main directions of their applications in the technologies of oll production will be discussed based on the examples POLYEX products. Surfactant containing oli wash-off chemicals, additives for acid compositions which are able to prevent emulsion forming, additives for process fluids and kiling fluids, emulstiers, induding high temperature ones, as wellas the viscoelastic surfactant based chemicals for acidzing and hydrofracturing will be observed.
