Enterprises of the Perm Krai discussed the possibilities of industrial cooperation with subsidiaries of Gazprom Neft PJSC

Companies of the Perm Krai, with the support of the Regional Engineering Center, took part in the presentation session Day of the Industrial Partner of the Oil and Gas Cluster.

The participants of industrial cooperation represented the Perm Krai at the session such as the manufacturer of ball valves Scientific and Production Enterprise StelsPromMash, the manufacturer of chemical reagents Polyex and the web developer IMI Media.

According to Vyacheslav Shumakov, Deputy Director for Bussiness Development of Polyex, at the event, the company offered hydraulic fracturing fluids that can replace imported guar-based products. “At the session, we learned that Gazprom Neft structures are interested in these fluids, since hydraulic fracturing is one most common methods for increasing oil recovery. Our development is chemical reagents for the preparation of polymer-free hydraulic fracturing fluids. Compared to the traditionally used guar system, we have a number of advantages. Firstly, this is a completely domestic solution, independent of foreign components. Moreover, our development allows for increased permeability of the proppant pack, up to 98% versus 60% on the guar system, which increases the efficiency of the enhanced oil recovery operation. Now our chemistry is successfully used at a number of enterprises, and the priority is to develop new reagents and new technologies for suboil users,” explained Vyacheslav Shumakov.

At the event, the Oil and Gas Cluster of the Tyumen Region presented to enterprises a model of interaction with subsidiaries of PJSC Gazprom Neft, and the oil company presented current technological challenges. During the session, the delegation of the Perm Krai also met with the leadership of the cluster, where the parties discussed further formats of interaction.

At the end of the session, Director of the Regional Engineering Center Mikhail Ponomarev emphasized that the event opens up new opportunities for industrial cooperation: “Today our enterprises expanded the circle of potential partners in the gas industry and discussed their developments with representatives of seven subsidiaries of Gazprom Neft. We heard what solutions and areas of work are now of interest to the oil company in order to work out options for cooperation with the industrialists of the Kama region.”
