The company of POLYEX will make a presentation of the study on the viscoelastic surfactant based hydrofracturing process fluids within the framework of conference session "Actual problems of development and operation of oil and gas fields” at the II Perm Oil and Gas Forum in Perm
The Second Oil And Gas Forum wil take place on October 4-16, 2014 within the program of The Intemational pecalzed exhibition "Neft.Gaz.Khimiya 2014” in the city of Perm. At the conference in the framework of the forum the following problems will be observed: the problems of oil and gas field development and explottation, methods of creating simulation models and reservoir management, new technologies in driling and well construction.
On the second day of the conference, on November 15, the specialists of Polyex company wil present a report Study on the viscoelastic surfactant based hydrofracturing process fluids. Conventionally polymers (guar derivatives, cellulose) are used to provide fracturing fluids with the required rheological properties. One of the major drawbacks of such polymer-based systems is impaitment in formation permeability due to contamination with polymer decay products. As an alternative, Poyex offers viscoelastic surfactant based chemical of SURFOGEL® brand which was worked out by the company. Use of this, chemical makes it possible to provide polymer-free hydraulic fracturing fluids, which allow to avoid the above said disadvantages.
