Well Acidizing Package KSPEO-2 For Oil & Gas Production Wells

Purpose of Use

Complex acidizing package KSPEO-2 is designed for stimulation treatment of oil and gas production wells with carbonate reservoirs and sandstone reservoirs with low permeability with high clayiness. The acidizing compound also shows the water-repelling properties for porous rock.

Acidizing package KSPEO-2 is HCl-based compound in which a special complex of surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and modifying  agents is added. Acidizing package KSPEO-2 is available in grade A and grade B.

Application Area

  • Fresh well completion after drilling operations in carbonate and sandstone reservoirs; switching into other production horizons and well development after conservation and temporary nonoperation.
  • Acidic fracturing with flow-diverting emulsion containing emulsifier EKS-EM / EMITRIT®
  • Enhancing oil and gas recovery in production wells with water cut up to 60%, which have reduced productivity due to precipitation of non-organic type and due to oil-in-water emulsion forming.

Acidizing compound KSPEO-2 grade A and KSPEO-2 grade B can be used for acidizing of highly drowned oil and gas production wells (watering level higher than 70%) after temporary blockage of high-permeability zones via prior injection of hydrocarbon emulsions with emulsifiers EKS-EM (for formation temperatures under 70°C) / EMITRIT® (for  formation temperatures under 100°C).

In case the level of watecut is 80-90% the blockage of water influx into the well can be performed with the sediment forming compositions EMCO / TAMOLEX ®. After water influx blockage well acidizing with  KSPEO-2 grade A and KSPEO-2 grade B  compounds is performed.

Process Technique

Complex acidizing package KSPEO-2 grade A is ready-to-use composition.

Complex acidizing package KSPEO-2grade B is supplied in concentrated form. The working solution is to be prepared at site before the start of acidizing operation. Concentrated compound is diluted with fresh water with the ratio 1:1 by volume.

The working fluid is pumped into the formation with average consumption of 1.2-1.5 m3 per one meter of payzone.
