Acidizing fluid for injection wells KSPEO-2 N
TU 2122-056-53501222-2006
Complex acidizing fluid KSPEO-2 N is designed for the efficient treatment of injection wells in carbonate reservoirs with injection of water of any type and for wells in sandstone reservoirs with injection of produced water or waste water.
Acidizing fluid KSPEO-2 N is HCl-based compound in which special complex of surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and modifying agents is added. KSPEO-2 N is available in two grades: KSPEO-2 grade NA and KSPEO-2 grade NB.
Application Area
- Improving the injectivity in injection wells in carbonate and sandstone reservoirs, especially when the injectivity was affected by formation plugging with rust precipitation, suspended solids in injected water, precipitation formed as a result of incompatibility of salts in injection water and salts in formation waters, as well as by the products of vital activity of bacteria.
- Fresh injection well completion after drilling operations and re-start of the wells after conservation.
- Conversion of production wells into injection wells.
Acidizing fluids of KSPEO-2 N brand are designed for the efficient treatment of injection wells in carbonate reservoirs as well as for the wells in which brines or produced waters are injected. Acidizing fluids KSPEO-2 N can be pumped as a spacer before the acidic treatment of the well with acidizing fluids KSPEO-4 N and KSPEO-3 TN. Fluids KSPEO-4 N and KSPEO-3 TN are designed for the acidizing of wells in sandstone reservoirs with high permeability.
Acidizing with KSPEO-2 N can be combined with different physical methods of injection well treatment such as hydroimpulsive, vibrowave, acoustic impact, etc.
For the injection wells where produced water with high content of hydrocarbons is injected as well as for the production wells converted to injection wells, it is recommended to add modifier MK-R to KPEO-2N. Modifier MK-R contains some solvents.

Customer Benefits
-
Low reaction speed for carbonates, which allows deep penetration of the compound into the formation.
-
Ability to stabilize iron ions in diluted state when dissolving ferruginous rocks and precipitates.
-
High permeability in rock porous area of the reservoir due to low inter-phase tension between oil and KSPEO compound.
-
Dissolving power for salts and hydrocarbon.
- Low corrosiveness.
-
High dispersive power for clays.
Complex action of acidizing fluids KSPEO-2 N with modifier MK-R provides effective cleaning of the critical area from the hydrocarbons and from other matters suspended in produced water or waste water being injected.
Process Technique
Acidizing fluid KSPEO-2 NA is a ready-to-use fluid.
Acidizing fluid KSPEO-2 NB is supplied in concentrated form. The working solution is to be prepared at site before the start of operation. Concentrated compounds are diluted with fresh water with the ratio 1:1 by volume.
The working fluid is injected into the well with average consumption of 0.6 m3 per meter of perforated zone at well completion after drilling and about 1.5 m3 of fluid per meter of perforated zone of the reservoir in the wells under operation.
To select the optimal design of application, i.e. consumption of acidizing fluid, technique of its application, it is recommended to contact the specialists of Service & Sales Department of Polyex company.
Packing
KSPEO-2 N is delivered in PE containers with the capacity of 1 m3 or in rubberized cisterns.
Complex acidizing fluid KSPEO-2 N is certified for the application in oil-and-gas field.
