Acid antisludge additive of complex action ACIRONIX®-ASL is designed a component of acid package and is meant to be an additive for acid stimulation fluids, which are used for oil recovery improving in production wells in carbonate and sandstone reservoirs.

Antisludgу additive is used as a basic component for preparing acid stimulation fluid FLUXOCORE® 201 by applying an acid package or it may be added to hydrochloric acid or HCl/HF acid mixtures.

Adding of antisludge additive of complex action ACIRONIX®-ASL as a component of acid stimulation fluids prevents efficiently forming of stable high-viscose oil-acid emulsion and precipitation of hydrous ferric oxides, asphaltenes and smudges during acid stimulation of production wells. Antisludge additive ACIRONIX®-ASL can be applied within a wide temperature range (up to 100°C and higher).

Antisludge additive of complex action ACIRONIX®-ASL is a two-component composition, which consists of ACIRONIX®-ASL grade C and ACIRONIX®-ASL grade L and is supplied component wise. ACIRONIX®-ASL grade C is a mixture of polyethylene glycol ethers of synthetic primary higher fatty acids. ACIRONIX®-ASL grade L is a mixture of primary alcohols and surfactants; it is available in several types varying in freezing temperatures. To make ready acid stimulation fluid both grades of this additive are to be added to the acid together in strictly determinate ratio.

Antisludge additive of complex action ACIRONIX®-ASL is recommended for the application in a package together with  anticorrosive additive ACIRONIX®-IC and iron control agent ACIRONIX®-IRON.

Recommended Consumption 

Modification of acid is done by dissolving of ACIRONIX®-ASL grade C and ACIRONIX®-ASL grade L one after another in water solution of hydrochloric acid or HCl/HF acid mixture. It is possible to dissolve the acid additive in acid with 12% working concentration as well as in concentrated acid with 20-24%. ACIRONIX®-ASL can be added into the acid solution both before and after the additive of inhibiting action ACIRONIX®-IC. Modified acid stimulation fluid can be stored during not less than 12 months after the preparation.

Consumption of the chemicals is determined with laboratory tests in accordance with the specific application conditions of the objects to be treated.

Approximate consumption of antisludge additive ACIRONIX®-ASL grade C and ACIRONIX®-ASL grade L is up to 2.5% and 6.0% by the commodity form correspondingly.

Packing 

Antisludge additive ACIRONIX®-ASL grade C is supplied in multilayer paper bags with polyethylene liner, in paper drums by 20-100 m3, in steel drums or another type of packing by agreement with customer.

Antisludge additive ACIRONIX®-ASL grade L is supplied in drums by 50 or 227 m3 or polyethylene containers by 1m3. Delivery in railway tank is possible.
